For the first time in three years, we have not one; not two but three Fay and Bowens launches scheduled in for the fall/winter season. One 1912 Special Runabout, and two long deck launches. I'll give you more details as we have them. I also posted a nice Fay and Bowen Senior runabout in the For Sale section..

We attended the 20th annual Wooden Boat Show at Mystic Seaport with Tim McElroy of the Classic Sailboat Shop to showcase our 1904 B.B. Crowinshield sloop ANONA. It was my first Wooden Boat Show and I had a great time. It was a very well run and attended event, and we met with many people that over the years we have only communicated with over the phone or by e-mail. The Crowinshield was very popular and played her part like a runway model. The high point of the show for me was the previous owners traveled from western NY to meet us and see the boat on display. I can't give you any details yet, but be watching later this year for a magazine article on ANONA. ...That's me on the left in a rare picture, and the Youngs on the right. They sailed this boat on Lake Ontario since the 1960's! There are more wooden boats on the market right now than I have seen in many years. It is a great time to buy. A picture of Sam Lawrence posing in the second earliest Wianno Senior...I won't tell you where because he wasn't supposed to be in there! The hull is in bristol condition... Sam recently sent me some pictures of Wianno Senior racing on Cape Cod.. see them here. 1936 Old Town 18' Sea Model #116193; shipped June 11, 1936.
